Interview with Aaron T Knight

Interviewer: I suppose at this juncture in your career as a writer you have probably  been writing for many years.

Aaron: Not really. I never thought about a career as an author. It all started when my Creator was doing an inspection tour of the planet and He spotted me floundering and  flopping  around down here. I was absolutely useless. He ran out of ideas of how to help me so he made me a writer.

Interviewer: I find your answer unbelievable, what proof do you have that your Creator turned you into a writer ?

Aaron: Oh, I have plenty of proof. You have probably noticed writers are always broke.  I had money once, but as soon as He made me a writer, I' became practically penniless.

Interviewer: That isn't satisfactory proof to me.

Aaron: Here is irrefutable proof He is responsible for my writing career. Before the transformation, I could write something like, "The man took a walk to the river". But, once you're a writer, thereare  rules you must follow.  It's necessary to use a lot of synonyms, acronyms, analogies, lots of adjectives  descriptions and there's probably a couple of yms I missed. So, now that I'm a writer the sentence becomes, "The lame man limped badly as he leaned into the gale sized wind, howling like a wolf, toward the raging, storm tossed, swirling river." See what I mean ? Would you kike me to give you more proof?

Interviewer: No I think it's quite enough.

All of the efforts of his hard driving father to mold him into a successful magnate like himself fail miserably and often hilariously. Who is framing Baxter and why ?

            CASE OF THE STRANGLED PARROT

A baffling assassination of a minor government official has occurred in London in 1925. It is a case without any motive and no clues to the identity of the killers. Famous detectives become involved trying to solve the case often with humorous results. It becomes a high profile incident with the public as the investigation begins to drag along. Public announcements from Scotland Yard dwindle down to "it is an on-going investigation". Everyone knew it meant no one had a clue about anything..

To add to the confusion the MPs in parliament begin to take the heat from their constituents. They create a special investigation board to elect their own investigator to take over the case. Now there are opposing forces investigating the same case leading to confusion and conflicts.

See how many fictional characters you can identify in this comedic mystery.

FOOT NOTE

London 1925 the author of the Sherlock Holmes mysteries is knighted as the father of modern forensic science methods for crime investigation. Thus began the English explosion of mystery writers developing detective characters beloved by the reading public. More than likely several manufacturers of magnifying glasses made a fortune selling this devices to thousands of young people dreaming of becoming detectives. This would also be true for makers of the odd floppy caps.
