I was born in Lincoln in 1982, and spent more than 13 years working within both bluechip and local organisations developing and implementing digital marketing strategies. As a child one of my favourite parts of the summer holidays was to go to a little book shop in Devon and devour all the books in the children and teen area. I continued to read at lightning speed right up until having children, where I now read with eyes propped open by match sticks.

Blogging and over-using social media on maternity was a way of keeping myself sane during the years of no sleep and crying (both theirs and mine) and lead me to realise that not only do I love to read but I love to write…and even more amazingly, people enjoy reading what I write.
