Dave D Hoing

Dave Hoing lives in Waterloo, Iowa, with his wife Joni. He is a member of SFWA (Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America) with dozens of short speculative fiction publications, but he has published numerous literary and historical stories as well. His historical book Hammon Falls, co-authored with Roger Hileman, is his first published full-length novel. He and Roger also collaborated on a collection of short stories in the fantasy genre, Voices of Arra, which was released in January 2011. Late in 2011 or early 2012 Dave expects to publish Tales of Earth, a collection of his solo work encompassing virtually every genre imaginable.

In real life Dave is a Library Associate at the University of Northern Iowa, where he has worked in one capacity or another since 1978. When he's not at the library or writing fiction, he travels, composes music, collects antiquarian books, enjoys old silent movies, and wins money in the Iowa lottery often enough to keep life interesting.
