Deborah Dee Harper's kids' adventure series, Laramie on the Lam, has been published in six eBook installments by the Quake division of Echelon Press. It is expected to be published shortly in print form.
Deborah's current adult manuscript, Misstep, was a finalist in the 2009 Operation First Novel Contest co-sponsored by the Jerry B. Jenkins Christian Writers Guild and Tyndale Publishing House and is being sent to publishing houses by her agent. She’s a contributor to Chicken Soup and other Christian anthologies and a popular writer of widely-read, humorous, and motivational stories online (as Deborah Dee Simmons).
Deborah enjoys making elementary classroom visits to read her children’s work to students and speaking about writing to both student and adult groups. She finds lots of inspiration in her grandchildren--Dustin, Hunter, Cannon, Madisson, Tyler, Adam and Molly. The main character in her Laramie on the Lam series is a blend of brothers Dustin and Hunter.
Deborah writes from Anchorage, Alaska, where she lives on Joint Base Elmendorf (Air Force)-Richardson (Army), but will be moving to the lower 48 in the fall of 2012. She maintains three blogs: http://www.deborahdeetales.blogspot.com; http://www.laramieonthelam.blogspot.com, and http://www.deetrails.blogspot.com.
She's a member of the Jerry B. Jenkins Christian Writers Guild and is represented by Terry Burns of Hartline Literary Agency.
