Diane Scott Lewis grew up in the San Francisco Bay Area, joined the Navy at nineteen. She writes book reviews for the Historical Novels Review and was a historical editor for The Wild Rose Press. Her first novel, The False Light, was published in 2010. Her second, Elysium, in 2011. Her sequel to TFL, Without Refuge, was released March 2012.
