Eileen Obser

Eileen Obser, author of Only You, a memoir, has been teaching creative writing courses in New York for over 20 years, the last 16 at Suffolk County Community College, in addition to libraries and cultural centers throughout Suffolk County, where she loves working with adult and senior writers who are writing memoirs. She is a graduate of the MFA program in Creative Writing and Literature at Stony Brook University Southampton in New York. Her stories and personal essays, humor, and have been published in numerous newspapers and magazines, including The Washington Post and The Philadelphia Inquirer Magazines, Newsday, The Boston Globe, The Village Voice, Ms. Magazine, The East Hampton Star, Proteus, and The Southampton Review literary magazines, among other publications.

Her memoir, Only You, set in her teenage years (the late 1950s) has just been published by Oak Tree Press.  She lives on the east end of Long Island, in East Hampton, New York.
