Gary L Rockey


By way of Carnegie Mellon's School of Drama, Pittsburgh, G. L. graduated from Michigan State University and pursued a career in the television industry. He produced/directed and wrote sundry television scripts, proposals, and programs. While Program Manager at KTSP-TV, Phoenix, the station won three National Association of Television Program Executives' (NATPE) program awards and he represented NATPE to Hamburg, Germany. Awarded a Master's degree from Cleveland State University, he taught a broadcasting course there.

Published work includes three novels, Time and Chance, The Journalist (Redacted), and Truths of the Heart; an anthology, Bats in the Belfry, Bells in the Attic; and a nonfiction book, From the Back of the House-Memories of a Steak House Clan. Reviews at
