Southwesterner, horseman and a man who had an outstanding memory and a sharpened sense of humor); WIDOWHOOD HAPPENS (an easy-read book about the need for all married people to prepare for widowhood.  It does not push an ideology); THERE'S SOMETHING ABOUT CAVE CREEK (a character-driven non-fiction book about the early settlers of a small Southwestern town in Arizona) and JAVELINA (Have-uh-WHAT?).  That one is a non-fiction children's book about wild pig-like animals.  A reviewer said, "This book is not just another bedtime story book."
