Hywela Lyn was born in the month of October, in Newport, Gwent, Wales and lived in Wales most of her life. She is immensely proud of being Welsh, and her Celtic roots. She currently resides in England with her husband Dave, two horses and a rescued Jack Russell terrier.
She has two great loves - Horses and Writing. (In fact she is crazy about all animals, not just horses.)
Lyn has always loved writing and has several short stories published, with a novel 'Starquest' and novella 'Dancing With Fate published by The Wild Rose Press. The sequel to 'Starquest' , 'Children Of the Mist' was released in June 2009.
She enjoys writing Westerns but her favourite genre is full length Science Fiction and Fantasy - with a strong romantic element. She usually manages to have a horse somewhere in most of her stories.
Her heroines are always strong but feminine - her heroes brave but caring ...
In case you are wondering, her penname, Hywela Lyn, is actually a combination of her first two names. Hywela is Welsh, but she has always been called Lyn and was glad of the chance to be able to use her second name as well.
