James Carmichael

James Carmichael's prose has appeared in The Atlantic, Slate, The Boston Globe, The Daily, and flavorwire. He is the author of Erra's Throne, a serialized novel about a high-school gamer who has to save the whole world from a destructive Babylonian god. His plays have been produced in New York, London, Edinburgh, and Boston. He is a graduate of Stuyvesant High School in New York City, and Harvard College. He also holds vestigial Master’s degrees in business administration and international relations from the University of Chicago, and in acting from LAMDA.

He lives in Los Angeles near the ocean with two cats, one of whom is a jerk.
