Lorna Collins was raised in Alhambra, CA where she earned honors in English. Between 1998 and 2001, she worked in Japan on the Universal Studios theme park with her husband, Larry. Their memoir of that experience, 31 Months in Japan: The Building of a Theme Park was published in 2005 and was a finalist for the 2006 nonfiction EPPIE award. Today she and Larry reside in Dana Point, CA.
Lorna co-authored the Aspen Grove sweet romance anthologies: Snowflake Secrets, Seasons of Love, Directions of Love (winner of the 2011 EPIC eBook Award for anthology), An Aspen Grove Christms, The Art of Love, and ...And a Silver Sixpence in Her Shoe. The first four were co-written with the same group of authors: Sherry Derr-Wille, Luanna Rugh, and Christie Shary. Cheryl Gardarian made her debut in An Aspen Grove Christmas..She joined Lorna, Sherry, and Luanna for The Art of Love and ...And A Silver Sixpence in Her Shoe.
In addition, Lorna and Larry have written two cozy mysteries: Murder… They Wrote and Murder in Paradise. They are working on two sequels.
Their latest collaboration is The Memory Keeper, a historical novel set in San Juan Capsistrano, California in the 1800s.
Lorna's first solo work, Ghost Writer, is a fantasy, romance, mystery, set in Southern California. She's working on another fantasy novel.
Several of her works have won and finaled in various contests.
