Mary Jean Adams

I read my first romance novel in seventh grade, and I've been hooked ever since. While other kids struggled to figure out what to write in their English journals, I tried my hand at a soap opera. I can still remember the "inappropriate" my English teacher wrote across the top of the page in red ink. Trust me, my seventh-grade imaginings were nothing like the romance novels of today!

These days I make my living writing content for businesses, but my passion is still writing romance. My business clients would be amazed at how often the skills of the latter help me with their projects. Let's just keep that our little secret though, shall we?

I currently live in North Dakota —by choice even —with my husband, two kids, two cats and an untold number of the world's ugliest fish.

I read my first romance novel in seventh grade, and I've been hooked ever since. While other kids struggled to figure out what to write in their English journals, I tried my hand at a soap opera. I can still remember the "inappropriate" my English teacher wrote across the top of the page in red ink. Trust me, my seventh grade imaginings in the late '70s were nothing like the romance novels of today!

With historical romance novels, I've been able to combine my first love with my second--American history. My area of greatest interest is the period of the American founding between the French and Indian War and the War of 1812. I'm also intensely interested in The French Revolution and the Napoleanic era, but one has to draw the line somewhere! So far, all of my novels take place during the American Revolution.

If you'd like to contact me, you can reach out to me on any of my social sites or directly atmj@maryjeanadams.com. I'd love to her from you.
