I'm an active duty officer in the US Submarine Force. I was born in Wadsworth, Ohio and attended Purdue University. While at Purdue, I met the love of my life and we've been together ever since. Lucky for me, she has followed me around the world for the last twenty years. I have served on two submarines, the USS Finback and the USS Hartford. I have also been stationed on several shore commands including Purdue University ROTC, COMSUBSOUTH in Naples, Italy, and NPTU Ballston Spa, New York. Somewhere in there we also managed to create an amazing son, Sam who is now 4 years old. I am currently assigned on staff at the Naval War College. My job requires me to travel a great deal which leaves me a lot of free time in airports and at hotels. I decided to use this time to start putting story ideas I've had on paper. I hope to make Zhena a 4 book series and eventually want to explore other genres as well.
