Being slightly reclusive by nature, I live on thirty wooded acres in a little hand-built log house located in the rolling hills of Oregon. I spend most of my time living a life of romance and adventure through my fictional characters, but I share the "real" world with my husband, Ed, two cats, Izzy and Lily, and our German Shepherd, Maggie, who thinks her sole reason for being on earth is to play ball.

The funny domed structure you see is actually a passive solar greenhouse that I designed and developed 30 years ago. It was so successful that I decided to write a book, THE BIODOME GARDEN BOOK, instructing others how to build one. Now the city of Ottawa, Canada is preparing to build one in their city park, and I have a backlist of readers who want to build their own and need domes. Finding none available on the internet, I'm now manufacturing fiberglass domes and fish tanks. My website for that is www.biodomegarden.com.
