Suzanne Barrett

A former facility engineer, I began writing over eighteen years ago. Then, I had no idea that it would prove so compelling. In those first heady days I couldn't wait to get home from my job to work on my stories. After eight years I realized my dream of retiring to write full time, and a few months later, sold my first book.

Shortly afterward, I sold a novella and two more books. Then, with the demise of the Bouquet imprint, I decided to switch to writing historical romantic fiction. Fast-forward to present time and I'm proud to announce two sales to Turquoise Morning Press, a small publisher in Louisville, Kentucky. I'm excited to be working with editor/owner Kim Jacobs and to be a part of this new venture.

Another release, my personal favorite, is coming out in late January from Turquoise Morning Press. If you love Ireland, you won't want to miss IN LOVE AND WAR, a story about an embittered war correspondent who returns to his ancestral home and becomes passionately involved with the one woman he shouldn't love--the daughter of Irish rebels.
