Retired, I've traded the tailored clothes of a technical writer for the feathered boa of a romance writer. I write contemorary, historical and romantic suspense. My debut book, Storm's Interlude, was nominated as Book of the Year for 2011 at Long and Short Reviews and won the HOLT Medallion Award of Merit in two categories: Best Book by a Virginia Author and Best Mainstream/Single Title. My second release is Those Violet Eyes, and I have 3 more stories under contract with The Wild Rose Press. My husband is also a published author, and we are owned by one tabby cat who edits our work with great disdain.
