If like me you have take pleasure in history and folklore I expect you will love this book, though it may not be every ones cup of tea! There are stories here about Adam and Eve, Lott, Abraham, Angels and the Nephilim to name a few.

My favourites are Heart Beating Still by S.L. Johnson who provides her own insight as to who the Nephilim are and what became of them. Clarice Clique creatively explores the story of the relationship of Adam and Eve after they were thrown out of the Garden. L.J. LaBarthe’s Fire, Burn is about two famous angels in the context of Sodom and Gomorrah. But one story that stimulated my submissive side and I view as the best of the collection is Lydia Swartz’s Famine: To What She Could Devour. Swartz’s takes inspiration from the story of Erysichthon in Ovid's Metamorphoses.

I have only just received my copy tonight. This is an ingenious idea for an anthrology, I have already read a few of the stories and have been unable to put this book down. I particularly liked Adam & Eve and where the author, Clarice Clique has taken this story especially haw she has developed the relationship. I must confess I am a great fan of her work and this story is so unlike her other work I have read. I shall return and add my comments of the other stories here later.
