I am Queen of the non-humans. Vampires, shape shifters, Faerie, and all the things that go bump in the night are at my beck and call. I personally don't believe in slavery, so I don't use that option. Emmett, my husband, and I rule what the humans believe is the minority. If it helps them to sleep at night to think of us as the minority, then fine.
One of the council members has set up a whole slew of meetings for Emmett and me with the who’s who of the supernatural community. Emmett is not happy to say the least. He's even less thrilled when the plane my ex let me borrow explodes ... with me on it.
But then, I’m non-human, so the experience was merely a blast.
