Falsely accused of treason by her power-hungry stepmother, Syla, the crown princess of the planet Trilan, escapes to Earth with the help of her lover, bodyguard Jake Odin.
To keep her safe, Jake takes Syla to the Montana farm of his former lover and partner Luka Arma. Torn apart when the woman they both loved was murdered, Jake coped with his loss by throwing himself into his work, while Luka chose to retreat into isolation.
Still mourning his lost lover, Luka is overjoyed to see Jake again, but he gives Syla a frosty reception. A passionate interlude between the trio leaves Luka shaken and wondering if he might finally be able to stop living in the past.
