When Dianne finally hits rock bottom, what will it take for her to see the last vestiges of hope?
Dianne’s life began to take a drastic, uncontrollable downward drop then. She began smoking the substance every day instead of just snorting socially, craving it more and more just to get through her odious life. In time, Susan wanted nothing to do with her anymore, nor did any of her other friends. The erratic mood swings and paranoia associated with the drug soon took their toll on everyone around Dianne, but she was too lost to notice. She dropped vast amounts of weight and began to look waif-like and sickly. Her parents threatened to disown her, send her to a hospital, and cut off her substantial monthly allowance. They were too naïve and upper class to think their only daughter could become a crack addict.
