Richards write erotic stories like she really means them. All of them are volcano hot, and this one is no different. There are several stories here, and although I have accused Richards in the past of being trite and predictable, that’s not the case here. All the men in this anthology are in uniform of some kind, and I loved them all.
I loved Sunny as she is stopped by Wade, a cop, for having an expired tag. She tries to get out of a ticket by offering a blow job, but she gets so much more!
Faith is content to dream about sexy Dean who just moved in next door, and the thought of him wrapping her in her shower curtain as he carries her to safety from a kitchen fire, made me laugh out loud.
Lucie is a tourist at Buckingham Palace when she’s dared by her friends to try to get a rise, smile, or wink out of one of the palace guards. The guards are not supposed to show any emotion or interest no matter what happens, so Lucie thinks she’s pretty safe in offering this one sex if he’ll smile or show her he’s listening. When Harry shows up at the hotel where she’s staying, she’s shocked, but only too glad to deliver on her promise.
RJ is in the service, and he figures Georgia deserves more than the occasional meeting when he gets leave. He broke up with her so she could move on without him. But now he’s back and jealous of any man who touches her. Georgia knows he’s the only man for her, but how can she let him know she would rather wait for him, than find someone who’s here all the time?
Bishop is also in the service and intends to marry Angel as soon as he can. When he returns to her wounded, she wants to keep him safe at home, but that’s not to be.
These are short stories with HEA endings, sexy interludes, and great heroes. Buy Serve and Submit, you’ll love it.
