These anthologies keep getting better and better. I have had the pleasure of reading the first two in the series and have been thoroughly entertained each time. This time was no different. The only difference was that there were only three stories and that was an added bonus. The stories were longer and a bit more detailed as a result, which made for a better understanding of the characters, their fears and hopes and dreams!
In this anthology the three stories are again ménage, so if this isn't your thing, then stop right there. I loved them and would certainly hope that these gorgeous, attentive, sexy men do exist somewhere. In The Ad Men and the Cougar by Elizabeth Raines [M/M/F, with M/M, Contemporary], advertising executive Tracey Daniels has assembled her Dream Team—two smart, sexy men who are able to anticipate her every move at work, making them an extremely successful team. They all work so well together. Ben and Corey, brought together by Tracey are already partners at work and at home and they hope they can convince Tracey to make the move from working together to working and playing together permanently.
A little mix up with a hotel reservation opens Tracey's eyes to the possibilities, but she can't get past the fact that this unorthodox lifestyle could affect her reputation at work and also affect her guys. What I loved was that though they were younger than Tracey, Ben and Corey were mature enough to know what they wanted and to try to get it—they also didn't give up when Tracey put up her barriers, but are their efforts enough or is Tracey willing to just leave it as a few one night encounters and distance from the guys in everything except work?
Cheryl Brooks writes great sci-fi fantasy romance but here she writes a great contemporary story. In Windfall [M/M/M/F, Contemporary], Angelica Jacobs has returned home to get the house she inherited up and running as a B and B. She knows the guys who she hired to be the contractors and they more than remember her—they had wet dreams about her before she left town with her parents and moved away. Now the threesome needs to convince Angelica that they can work as a foursome. Life, however, has a habit of getting in the way and a fallen tree, a handsome guy falling through the roof and some down and dirty sex with three gorgeously handsome and sensitive guys is just some of what she has to deal with. Can she get her head and heart straight and find where she needs to be, and what she wants? Can these men give her all that and more?
In Wet Her Whistle by Mellanie Szereto [M/M/F, Contemporary], Jonnalyn Petit's best friends, Randy and Jason, offer to put in her new water well. She has had the hots for the two guys since forever and yet she doesn't want to break up their friendship by expressing her desires for them. The guys are already together and she would love to be part of that but doesn't know how to even broach the subject—fear holds her back. Luckily she has two guys who are dying to make her a permanent part of their lives, but will their work come between them and can they sort out their differences to be together as they all secretly wished?
Super hot sex scenes, hunks to die for and great story lines. What more could you want? Occupation Hazards is definitely a book worth picking up! Well done ladies. Looking forward to the next one!
