When former classmate Alexi Manetas wanders into his book store, Simon Harris seizes the opportunity to rekindle a flame he'd carelessly extinguished years earlier.
Simon Harris has proclaimed his bisexuality loudly since college, despite never having dated a man. While his family and friends laugh, he knows the truth: there is one man he's always been attracted to. Once, fear kept him from acknowledging that attraction. No more. The next time he finds himself wanting to kiss a guy, he's going for it.
Alexi Manetas has never gotten over his schoolboy crush on Simon. When Simon graduated, Alexi moved on. He may not have pined for Simon, but he never forgot, and always, lurking at the back of his mind, buried deep in his heart there's been Simon and the hope that they would meet again.
A little help from an old lover and a busybody sister-in-law brings Alexi and Simon together, but Simon's fears might still tear them apart…

Ever since high school, Simon Harris has had a crush on Alexi Manetus. Even grown up and his own man Alexi is the one man he cannot forget. When Alexi starts coming in every Saturday to Simon's book shop, browsing but not talking to Simon, Simon makes a choice to show Alexi some items he bought for him when he was in college many years ago. Alexi tells him his wife has died, but can Simon, who has never dated a man before, take a chance on a different kind of love?

Review:
Simon knew Alexi had had a crush on him in high school, and though he felt the same, he wasn't secure enough to respond. Now that's he's older, when he runs into Alexi again, he thinks he's ready—until he realizes Alexi has a child.
The Man Trap is a quick, satisfying read, well written as are all Lee Brazil's stories. It all happens a little fast, but then again these guys have been in love since high school. Simon's reaction to Alexi having a child is reasonable, even though he comes off a little like a jerk because of it; it's a real reaction, and it all works out in the end. If you like stories about second chances definitely check this one out!
