A sexy debut exploring an erotic future universe of passion, danger, and deceit . . .
On the battleground or in the bedroom, one woman and two men fight for dominance in a bold, new, and excitingly different direction in erotica . . .
As a lieutenant of the Federation military, Sera Ayers is accustomed to giving orders, not taking them. Now she must obey the one man she can't stand-and can't stop thinking about.
With the enemy Imperialists gaining ground, a covert team is assembled by Ash Walker. Ten years before, Sera had lovingly submitted to Ash's dominance in the bedroom. But when he was forced into a political marriage, she refused to play mistress. His marriage now over, Ash wants Sera on his team-and back in his bed.
The third team member, Brandt Pela, has an elegance to match Ash's savage sexuality. And when their undercover plan requires Sera to pose as Brandt's lover, it ignites a passion among the three of them more dangerous than their mission.
Sera Ayers is a Lieutenant in the Federation Military Corps. For ten years now she has been the one to give orders, now in a twist of fate she is again under the command of the man that she use to willingly submit to in the bedroom. She is expected to work with him as part of a three person special ops team.
Ash Walker can think of nothing but the woman he was forced to let go ten years ago. He was forced into a political marriage for the sake of his family. He did not want to let Sera go; so instead of marriage, which he could not offer her, he offered to make her his officially recognized mistress. Rather than endure this she chose to leave completely.
Brandt Pela is the third member of their team. Brother to Ash’s now ex-wife, they work side by side in the fight to maintain the freedom of the people of the Federation against the Imperialists. He is also playing the part of Sera’s lover and Master.
Will the three of them be able to work together for the benefit of everyone, or will their personal pasts be too much to get beyond for Ash and Sera? Or will the sparks between them all make their personal situation hotter than the conflict they are trying to end?
Undercover is a compelling and wild read. The delicate workings of what it takes to make a ménage work is understood by Lauren Dane and used in such a way to make the reader wish that they were a part of the situation going on in the story. Men are allowed to fantasize about having two women at the same time so why can't we women be allowed the same freedom to fantasize about having two big strong hunks willing to do whatever it takes to make us happy? I for one would definitely enjoy it if the situation came up for me.
