Cop Maya Black is as prepared as she can be when her life is ended in a dark alley by something some people don't believe exist. What she isn’t prepared for is immortality.

Adam Brody hopes that the infamous Maya Black is as strong as the stories rumor her to be. His niece has been kidnapped and he needs her strength and smarts to get her back before it’s too late.

Maya knows there is something different about Adam but she can’t put her finger on it. His blood smells sweeter than any other she’s ever smelt. Can Adam convince Maya to help him? Is he willing to pay, in blood, for the services he so desperately needs?

Immortal Danger by Cynthia Eden is a paranormal romance. I found this book to be excellently written and once I started reading, I couldn’t stop. When Maya was alive she was a strong, kick butt cop. Now immortal she proves to be just as dangerous. Adam needs her to help locate the bad guys that have captured his niece. Although Maya believes it is too late to save his niece she helps him anyway. Both characters are strong and learn to depend on each other throughout the book. I found myself laughing at some parts and I spent most of the book trying to figure out Adam’s secret. This is definitely a recommended read for everyone! I enjoyed this story and know I will be on the lookout for more Cynthia Eden books!
