Lady Grace Belmont is new to London society and she doesn’t fit in. The tall, sturdy beauty has not the acceptable looks and temperament that is the height of fashion in the ton. But that doesn’t matter to Baron David Dawson. When the handsome baron first catches sight of Grace, David knows she is destined to be his. Her luscious curves and overly tall frame doesn’t intimidate him, in fact David feels instant lust, a feeling he has been lacking lately. Unfortunately he has to convince the feisty lady.

Like a smooth chocolate mousse, MacKenzie gives the reader a decadent treat of a book in The Naked Baron. Grace and David are wonderful title characters, believable and fun. Their flirting and friendship can’t help but touch the reader with their realism. You fall in love with them over the course of the book, however little they actually appear. The bulk of the story is actually dominated by the rekindling love affair of Kate, Grace’s lovable aunt and chaperone, and Alex, David’s reclusive uncle. Even though the novel seems more focused on that pair, the reader doesn’t mind. You fall in love with both couples equally and MacKenzie’s writing style.
