Someone needed to protect her…
With her partner dead and his dangerous associates after her, fear made Marie run—and drove her right into the arms of Jake Colder, the sheriff of the small town where she sought refuge. The sexual attraction between them is instant and intense, but even the taste of heated nights spent with Jake’s gorgeous hard body wrapped around her isn’t enough to let Marie relax her guard. If Jake knew what she’d done, he’d arrest her, exposing her to the deadly greed of the men who pursued. Still, as hard as she tries to stay away from the hunky sheriff, some inexplicable force keeps pulling them back together.
And that someone was Jake.
Jake knew Marie needed his protection. He’d been warned by the ghost of his great-great-grandfather, the family guardian for over a century. Whatever the trouble was, there was one thing he was sure of—he wanted Marie in his life, in his bed, forever, and no one was going to hurt her on his watch.

Marie Taylor is on the run. She believes that her business partner is dead and his shady associates are out to get her. She sends copies of papers she stole from him to the FBI in hopes that they will be able to help her. She then pulls out a map, closes her eyes and points. Her finger lands on Fort Bridger, Wyoming. She hopes she will be safe there.
Jake Colder is the Sheriff in Fort Bridger. It doesn't take him long to notice Marie and even less time to realize that she is in some type of trouble. He can't convince her to tell him about her troubles, but he does convince her to move in to his home to help take care of the place and his son. Marie is leery of the Sheriff, but neither can deny the attraction between them.
Guardian Angel is an exceptional book. You can't stop turning the pages to see what is going to happen next. You will be sucked in by the intrigue, heated up with the romance, and rolling on the floor with its touch of comedy. All of the characters are believable; they could be anyone from your own hometown. Katie is the sassy waitress that knows everyone and their business; Jesse, Jake's son, will pull your heart strings; and Gramps is a meddling old coot! Will Marie learn to trust Jake with her secrets? Does her past catch up with her or will she continue to run? You'll have to pick up a copy of Guardian Angel to find the answers to these questions and much more! Ms. Fuller has written a captivating story that will reel you in, but doesn't leave you hanging. This will definitely be a keeper and I'll be looking for more!
