Marti Bell is facing the prospect of a very

married lover she travels toward ice, snow, and

Marti Bell isn’t looking forward to Christmas with her judgmental family in the ice and snow and doesn’t want to leave her married lover behind but he will not be available during the holidays so what kind of Christmas is that? Everything changes when Marti meets a magical Santa and decides to just go “wherever” for Christmas by herself. Wherever Island is a winter paradise but since Marti showed up unexpectedly without a reservation the only accommodations is the second bedroom of a beachside cottage of the adventurous photographer Cliff Holmes. Cliff wants to unwind and have a little romantic get away but Marti is determined to stay out of the water…

Christmas on Wherever Island is a cute story. Marti is uptight and miserable and can’t seem to see the forest for the trees. Cliff is sexy and interested but Marti is confused and feels she should be loyal to a married man… Why do smart woman make some of the dumbest choices in their personal lives? I was hoping for Cliff to win from the get-go. Marti is too good a person to sell herself short and settle for the life she has been accepting. She deserves so much better and Cliff can offer her a lot more, if she’d just look. Of course, a magical Santa and a magical Island can go a long way toward defrosting a frozen heart… If you love a little fantasy, a hot romance, tropical breezes and well-deserved vacation stories, you will enjoy Christmas on Wherever Island. I wonder if that Santa is at my airport although I want him to whisk me off with my husband to that magical Island…
