Annie's heart led her astray but no more. War came and harden her resolve. But to protect others her secret is out. Can she avoid the General who wants her for himself?
Sassing Saul is the latest story in Gail Koger's Colleti Warlords series. I really like Annie. She was down but not out. Bruised but not broken. I thoroughly enjoy the run for his money she gave the General. Saul is so used to people following his orders he is not so pleasantly surprised by Annie. She will not lay down and accept Saul and his rules. Especially as they are not the fairest. I lvoe that Ms. Koger gave Saul such a fiesty femaile. She challenges him in ways he isn't quite use to. I love that even while he appreciates Annie he is no less determined to make her his.
This story is full of laughter and comraderie. I thoroughly enjoyed returning to this world. Ms. Koger has created and look forward to where she will take us next.
