Fiona has always had stories in her head...voices telling her about their lives. She used to think that everyone walked around being entertained by characters in romance novels. When she started writing her novels, she found that finishing a book meant that those characters stopped talking...but then others started demanding their time. She figures that in order to tell all of the stories, she'll need to live to about 150!
I write contemporary erotic romance novels, some suspenseful, some more concerned with the romance. I write about strong independent women who are busy living their lives. They meet equally strong men, and the sparks fly. Sooner or later they have to face the fact that there is more to their relationship than just good sex. They are meant to be together for the long-term. The one who realizes it first then has to convince the other one. And always the most interesting thing to me is how men and women relate to one-another. We speak almost in two different languages...how do we communicate across that chasm? Viva la difference! That's also why I like to write inter-racial romance, to give yet another difference the romance must overcome.
