Marie McGaha was born and raised in Northern Calif. along the shores of Humboldt County. She has always had a great love of the ocean and the mountains, as well as nature and animals. She has been rescuing abused and abandoned animals for many years, and has 6 fur babies. She settled in Oklahoma in 1989 and loves the mountains, lakes and rivers the SE area offers. She has been happily married to husband Nathan for twelve years. After more than 20 books written in the erotic romance sub-genre, Marie rediscovered her Christian roots and rededicated her life to God. She now writes to glorify the Lord, and her new books, "When God Talks, It's Time To Listen," and "Comfort & Joy book one: forgiveness," are the first in her non-fiction series.
In June 2011, Marie opened the virtual doors of Dancing With Bear Publishing as a tribute to her late husband, J. Bear Marler, about whom she wrote Dancing With Bear: A Love Story.
Marie and Nathan love riding their motocycles and are members of The Patriot Guard. Marie is the captain of the 18Wheels 580S Motorcycle Association, a group for truck drivers who are also bikers.
