From the author of the Garella Vampire Chronicles comes the next installment featuring vampire hunter, Lady Victoria Gardella Grantworth de Lacy. She has just escaped with her life in Rome and is coming home to London. Yet she finds something stalking the city during daylight hours. Victoria cannot detect the vampire and she is being blamed for the slayings.Through it all she is still trying to decide between Sebastian and fellow slayer, Max. To make matters worse Victoria is not only battling the new breed of undead stalking London but the darkness within herself.
This is a very unique and extremely intriguing series. Twists and turns abound in this story and it will surely leave you hanging on the edge of your seat. Darkly sexy When Twilight Burns will draw you into its clutches and not let you go. Colleen Gleason is a very talented writer and that shows in this tale. Not only do you have vampires running around during the day, but you have the heroine blamed for the murder. With all that she is still tempted by two men and is having trouble deciding which she truly wants. If you are a big fan of vampires and have not yet tried this series, you must do so. Watch out Anita, there is a new slayer in town!
