Possession is only half the fun...
The moment she arrives at her rented vacation cottage nestled in Scotland, Zoë Daniels feels it--an arousal so powerful she's compelled to surrender to the unusually forceful carnal desires...with nearly anyone who crosses her path. Crawford Logan, the boat builder with the wayward grin. The devilish restaurateur Cain Davot, who seems to know more about Zoë than he lets on. And even her sexy neighbor Grayson Murdoch, whose eyes delve deep into her soul as he explores every inch of her body.
Yet there's something unsettling about the way the locals watch her, something eerie about these overwhelming encounters. Zoë knows she's not quite in control of herself and begins to wonder if there's any truth to the legend of Annabel McGraw, a powerful, promiscuous eighteenth-century witch who once owned the cottage, and whose spirit is rumored to affect anyone who stays there. Zoë doesn't believe in anything that even hints at the occult, but now strange visions are turning frightening...and only one man's touch can bring her back to earth.

Review: Zoe Daniels is organized, efficient and factual. Being a personal assistant demands those qualities. Her sister Gina has found a lovely cottage for Zoe’s vacation. Her Haven is located in Carbrey on the Scottish coast and sounds like just the place to unwind and relax. Maybe she’ll even come to grips with her mothers’ death. But what awaits Zoe in Carbrey is anything but relaxing...
Zoe starts to feel strange as soon as she nears Carbrey. Distinctly odd, very turned on, like someone is with her, breathing on her. She pulls to the roadside to get some fresh air, to shake off the weird feeling that she’s not alone. She’s staring so intently at the forest that she never hears the motorcycle pull up. Grayson Murdoch gives her a fright when he offers his assistance. Tall, blonde with grey-green eyes and the most sensuous mouth she’s ever seen, her body immediately goes into overdrive. Zoe is attracted but she’s never felt this ramped up so quickly. What is wrong with her?
Gray is a professor at Edinburgh University. He’s bought Cornerstone Cottage to live in while researching local folklore, specifically the local historic witches. He’s Zoe’s neighbor and the attraction is mutual. Gray is as strongly attracted to Zoe as she is to him. Should he act on it?
Zoe’s arrival, their strong sexual attraction and other unseen elements cause the ghost of Her Haven, Annabel, to manifest. She’s taken a particular interest in Zoe. Annabel begins to show Zoe visions of her life. A non-believer Zoe starts to question herself and all around her. No one is what they appear to be and she wonders if she can trust anyone.
Rampant is suspenseful, sexy and exciting. Ghosts, witches, white magic vs. dark magic and true love combine to make a page turner that’s hard to put down. Zoe and Gray are as opposite as you can get, yet they fit together like puzzle pieces. Annabel needs her story to be told and Zoe is the conduit she requires to do so. Are Annabel’s visions showing a way for Zoe and Gray to beat the present day malevolence threatening them, or a ploy to lure them to their destruction? Will they be able to withstand the evil that wants to take Zoe for itself? I loved the way the present and past parallel and play off each other. The sins of the past do come to haunt the future. Rampant is a thrilling hot read that’s just the thing for a cold night.
