Wedding baker Laurel McBane is surrounded by romance working at Vows wedding planning company with her best friends Parker, Emma, and Mac. But she's too low-key to appreciate all the luxuries that their clients seem to long for. What she does appreciate is a strong, intelligent man, a man just like Parker's older brother Delaney, on whom she's had a mega-crush since childhood.
But some infatuations last longer than others, and Laurel is convinced that the Ivy League lawyer is still out of her reach. Plus, Del is too protective of Laurel to ever cross the line with her-or so she thinks. When Laurel's quicksilver moods get the better of her-leading to an angry, hot, all-together mind-blowing kiss with Del-she'll have to quiet the doubts in her mind to turn a moment of passion into forever...

Review: Laurel McBane loves her friends and loves her work even more. As the baker for Vows, the wedding business she and her friends founded, she is busy all day everyday but vacation is on the horizon and she can barely wait. Laurel is a little less romantic than her friends but love is a nice thing to have, to feel…at least in theory. Delaney Brown, an Ivy League lawyer and a guy she has had a major crush on since childhood, is nearly impossible to ignore. After an unexpected kiss, her fault, Laurel finds herself grappling with the sheer emotion she feels for Del and the doubts swirling in her mind…
Nora Roberts has given us, once again, what we’ve come to expect: spot on romance with amazing, lively characters. Savor the Moment is the third in the Bride Quartet series though it could easily be read standalone…not sure you’d want to though since the other books are just as delightful. Surprising emotion and a realistic connection with characters is Roberts’ forte and she doesn’t miss with this one. I highly recommend this to all romance readers and wait with bated breath for the last in the series, Happy Ever After.
